Administrative stress
should not be a
cost center.
We are building Fundament — a calm, Swiss, Zero-Data-Retention companion for people who struggle with paperwork. The consumer app is our first step. B2B is where we scale the impact. Currently seeking pilot partners, research collaborators, and pre-seed investors.
Why this matters
Millions of people in Switzerland and Germany lose sleep, work time, and mental health over administrative tasks. For employers, insurers, and municipalities, this hidden burden eventually becomes a visible cost.
The cascade is predictable: unopened letters → missed deadlines → legal escalation → enforcement → employer or insurer intervention. By the time the problem is visible, the cost is 10× higher than early, gentle support. We believe there is a better way — and we are looking for partners who want to build it with us.
Where we see the opportunity
These are the four B2B pathways we are exploring. None are launched yet. We are talking to stakeholders in each to understand what would actually work before we build.
Corporate Wellness (Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement)
Our hypothesis: Fundament could be offered as a reimbursed employee benefit for prevention. In Switzerland (KVG) and Germany (§20 SGB V), prevention tools can be covered — but only with evidence. We need clinical validation before insurers or employers will reimburse.
- Target: reduce presenteeism from admin-related stress
- Requires: proof of health outcome (our biggest open question)
- Open question: would HR actually buy this, or is it too niche?
- Seeking: employer wellness leads willing to co-design a pilot
Upstream Micro-Settlements (Upstream-Mikrozahlungen)
Our hypothesis: municipal social services could use a gentle tool to help citizens settle bills before they reach enforcement. This preserves dignity, reduces costs, and keeps people out of the debt spiral. But municipal IT procurement is slow and risk-averse.
- Target: reduce enforcement costs and social harm
- Requires: integration with municipal ERP and payment systems
- Open question: who pays — municipality, citizen, or social service?
- Seeking: social workers and municipal IT leads for discovery interviews
SME Debt Collection Prevention
Our hypothesis: SMEs (utilities, telcos, property management) lose money and customers by sending people to collections too early. A self-service arrangement tool — with an empathy-calibrated tone — could preserve relationships and recover revenue. This is the closest to a traditional SaaS model.
- Target: reduce collection costs and churn
- Requires: integration with existing invoicing systems
- Open question: do SMEs care enough about "soft" collection to pay for it?
- Seeking: CFOs at service companies for 30-minute discovery calls
DiGA / Medical Device Pathway (Germany)
Our aspiration: Fundament as a prescribed digital health application (DiGA) for diagnosed ADHD, anxiety, and burnout. This is the hardest path — it requires a randomized controlled trial, CE marking, and BfArM evaluation. It is also the most impactful and the most defensible long-term. We know this will take 2–3 years minimum.
- Target: prescription via physicians, covered by Krankenkassen
- Requires: RCT, CE mark, BfArM fast-track submission
- Open question: can we find a clinic partner willing to run the study?
- Seeking: psychiatrists, researchers, and grant funding for the trial
Zero-Data-Retention by design
We are building Fundament on a Zero-Data-Retention architecture. Nothing is stored. Nothing is logged. Data exists only in temporary memory during the active session, then is irrecoverably destroyed. This protects users. And it protects Fundament — no stored data means no breaches to report, no subpoenas to answer, no GDPR fines.
This is the architecture we are building for the consumer app and for every B2B deployment. No backups. No logs. No database. We cannot leak what we do not keep. This is not a feature we will add later. It is the foundation — and it is the reason we believe Fundament can exist responsibly in a world of ever-tighter privacy regulation.
A vision for professional support
We imagine a world where therapists, coaches, social workers, and financial advisors can support clients through administrative overwhelm — without ever seeing sensitive documents. With explicit consent, professionals would see only task progress, never content.
Therapists & Coaches
See where clients are stuck with administrative tasks. Support without surveillance. Content remains on the client's device.
Social Workers
A dashboard view of citizen progress on payment arrangements and document completion — with full consent and no content access.
Financial Advisors
Help clients organize financial paperwork without handling sensitive documents. Progress tracking only.
Model we are exploring: Freemium for individual professionals. Per-seat licensing for organizations with 5+ practitioners. But first, we need to validate that professionals actually want this.
Building literacy early
Two concepts for younger users. Neither exists yet. We are looking for educators, child psychologists, and municipalities who believe administrative literacy should start before adulthood.
kids.fundament
Ages 8–14 — Concept
A gamified, parent-managed interface that teaches basic money and administrative literacy. Never shows scary numbers. Uses positive reinforcement and visual progress tracking. Designed with child psychologists and educators.
Seeking: Schools, family services, child psychologistsyouth.fundament
Ages 15–21 — Concept
Independent use for first bills, apprenticeship contracts, moving out. Bridges to the adult app at age 18. Includes guided scenarios for common young-adult administrative challenges.
Seeking: Municipalities, vocational schools, youth counselorsWhat we need to prove
We are honest about what we do not know. The biggest barrier to every B2B pathway is evidence. Here is how we plan to build it — and what we need from partners.
User interviews & problem validation
We are conducting qualitative interviews with employees, social workers, HR leads, and clinicians to understand where Fundament could actually help. We are not selling yet. We are listening. If you work in any of our target sectors, we would love 30 minutes of your time.
Pilot deployment with 2–3 partner organizations
We want to run small, low-risk pilots with employers, municipalities, or SMEs who share our vision. These would be free, co-designed, and explicitly experimental. Goal: prove usage, gather feedback, and measure early signals of stress reduction or task completion.
Observational study for health outcomes
If pilots show promise, our next step is a formal observational study with a clinical partner. This would be the foundation for any reimbursement claim — and for the DiGA pathway in Germany. We know this is hard. We are looking for researchers and clinic partners who believe it is worth trying.
Randomized controlled trial for DiGA
A full RCT comparing Fundament + treatment-as-usual vs. TAU alone for adults with ADHD and comorbid anxiety. Primary endpoint: administrative task completion rate. Secondary: debt incidents, sick days, quality of life. This is the gold standard — and we know it requires significant funding and time. We are starting the conversation now.
How you can help
We are a pre-seed team with a working consumer app, a clear vision, and a lot of unknowns. Here is what would move us forward.
Pilot Partners
An HR department, a municipal social service, or an SME willing to test a very early version with real users. Free of charge. Full transparency about limitations.
Pre-Seed Investment
We need funding to turn the consumer app into a B2B-ready platform, run pilots, and begin the observational study. We have a deck and a clear use-of-funds plan.
Research Partners
A Swiss or German clinic, university, or research group interested in studying administrative dysfunction as a health determinant. We bring the tool; you bring the methodology.
Domain Advisors
Experts in Swiss/German healthcare reimbursement, municipal procurement, or DiGA regulation who can help us navigate the system before we make expensive mistakes.
Visibility over Perfection. Forgiveness over Guilt.
Our core mission is unchanged: we believe administrative stress should not be a source of workplace absence, relationship breakdown, or mental health crisis. We are building the consumer app now. B2B is how we scale the impact — once the foundation is solid.
We are building toward a world where vulnerable people — whether neurodivergent, anxious, burned out, or simply overwhelmed — have the structural support they need to manage their obligations without shame. Switzerland first. Germany and Austria next. Always sovereign. Always ephemeral. Always human.
